Lucky’s home!!

Surgery went well.  No complications. I spent the afternoon learning how to upload pictures (thank you Renae!)  Lucky was still very wobbly when he first got home. He was very restless and agitated, wanted out of the corral.  He sat at the door and head butted it!  Settled down after about an hour just in time to give him his first dose of meds.  Not interested in water, so I gave him a liquid treat I picked up from Jackson Galaxy’s site.  He loved it!!! He’s now resting!  Waiting for the first pee!!

  1. Way to go mama!! Lucky is seeing pink elephants right now and that comes with taking them home same day. I went through that with Huck, thank goodness I used to be a surgical tech so I expected it. Keep up the good work and remember…. just like with people he may not act like his normal self and he won’t even remember it in a few days. They can be hyper sensitive, emotional, vocal, or just plain sleepy. It comes with the territory.
    Big hugs,
    Jackie and Huck❤

  2. Welcome Home Lucky
yes that’s the anesthesia. Purrkins did the same yesterday Barb if that helps any!

I’m not surprised he is not drinking. He might drink tuna water out of the can for you. Cats are NOT great drinkers, to begin with on wet food because they get what they need from the can.

    Hugs and scratches to Lucky
    Holly & Purrkins💝💝💝
